Laureen Coffelt, OTR/L, CHT
Certified Hand Therapist
Laureen is originally from Canada. She received her B.S degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Western Ontario in 1993. She specializes in hand therapy and acquired her CHT (Certified Hand Therapist) in 2001. She has worked at OrthoMemphis since 2004. In 2009, Laureen worked collaboratively with Dr. William L. Bourland in order to evaluate functional outcomes with the management of Dupuytren's Disease. She is also serving on the 2009-2010 ASSH (American Society for Surgery of the Hand) Clinical Trials and Outcomes Committee.
Outside of work, endurance mountain bike racing has been Laureen's more recent focus. Adventure Racing and trail racing are her additional interests in the colder months. She and her husband enjoy the outdoor life. Laureen continues to appreciate her previous background in both Art and Architecture.
