Physical Therapist Assistant
A Searcy, Arkansas native, Sharon has worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the Memphis area since 1995. She began her undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas, then graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Sharon specializes in aquatic as well as sports and outpatient orthopaedic rehabilitation. Prior to her career as a Physical Therapist Assistant, she was employed as a Physical Education teacher, and later as manager for the Universal Cheerleaders Association.
In 1995, Sharon received an Associate degree in Physical Therapy from Southwest Community College in Memphis. She is a certified aquatic instructor by the Arthritis Foundation as well as an aquatic instructor for the University of Tennessee and Southwest Community College Physical Therapy programs.
